The young man who identified himself as Oluwayelu Adeboye, a resident of 4 Union St, Dopemu Agege was caught while trying to secure the release of an impounded vehicle by Lagos Task Force operatives.
The Poly Ilaro drop out said he pretended to be an army officer in order to free any one arrested at different police stations across Lagos.
According to him, he charges owners of impounded vehicles N15,000 and up.
Lagos Police CP Owoseni has ordered the force to charge the 27-year-old suspect for impersonation.
