The robbers terrorizing residents of a Government Reserved Area in Port Harcourt met their untimely death on Saturday during an encounter with police.
The suspects armed with 2 AK47 rifles laid ambush for bank customers in an attempt to rob as many as they could rob of their money.
While they were attempting to rob their first victim, men of the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad on patrol shot them dead.
The victim was rescued and her money returned to her.
2 AK47 rifles, 7 magazines, 7.62 live ammunition and money were recovered from the suspects.
