August 4, 2016 – Pictures: Aisha Buhari’s N35 Million Naira Hermes Designer Bag Everyone Is Talking About
Let’s do some fact check on the viral N35million bag Nigeria’s First Lady Aisha Buhari carried to the US yesterday.
The Madam on top arrived Washington DC yesterday evening for a week-long visit.
Critics and PDP loyalists longing for her arrest were shocked when nothing of such happened to her.
So today, they took to the web to expose Aisha Buhari’s expensive designer bag.
The fact of the matter is that the Hermes Crocodile Bag our Madam carried to the US costs a whopping $69,000 online however there is no way to verify the authenticity of the bag except she revealed the price tag on the bag.
The replica of the bag costs less than N100,000 in boutiques across Nigeria.
Check out more photos of Aisha Buhari in Washington DC yesterday.

If she likes, let her carry N500,000,000 bag. What difference does it make? It is still called a bag and besides many people see the bag as aba made. I hate it when people waste money on things that does not help anyone in anyway.

Why do people just like to exaggerate and find fault with others? What type of clothing is she wearing to carry a #35 million Naira bag with it? Isn’t it obvious that her dressing is even too simple for a First Lady? Let us use our common sense (which, unfortunately, is not common) and focus on issues that affect Nigerians on a daily basis, such as, good competitive education for our children, job opportunities, good medical facilities and treatment, affordable or free healthcare, good potable drinking water, energy, good roads and so on. We should stop being petty and watching the handbags that people carry. As the saying goes, intelligent minds discuss ideas for advancement****

@Lola O, that her clothing is simple is not an indication that this allegation is untrue. Clothings are not always used to emphasise class. Many people would not mind wearing cheap or simple clothings, but when it comes to other things, their distinct sense fashion bears up. For men, you basically know our worth by our shoes, waist belt, and watch. For women, their shoes and their bags. And so Mrs Buhari may be wearing an Aba made clothing there, but the bag could buy an estate.

People don’t even know the kind of person President Buhari is. He will chase Aisha out of his house with her alleged #35 million Naira handbag. Stop being petty and focus on ideas and tackling issues challenging Nigeria’s progress to make our country more competitive with the rest of the world. How long are we going to be running to other countries for refuge and keep destroying ourselves and nation?

What has this lbwautiful ady done to warrant all this rubbish talk about handbag point of correction this is a First Lady of a country is she supposed to be carrying cheap bag. If I saw her with a cheap bag I would volunteer to buy her a Hermes bag.
I am not a First Lady but I have two Hermes bags.
Point of correction to wailers you don’t buy Hermes bags over the counter you have to be rich to be able to place an order for one.
Hermes bag is not for everybody cos it doesn’t come cheap it’s pre- ordered, for u to be able to have one you must be super rich.
It’s not for every Iyabo and Ngozi.

It will be highly unreasonable on our part to rush into conclusion, why? because the said bag bought for #35 million by the first lady is still a claim that has not being substantiated. If the replica of that bag could be sold for #100,000 I therefore found it hard to imagine the real bag could be as costly as a whopping#35 million. I don’t know what that hand bag is made of that will be so exorbitant as that amount. This might just be another political strategy from the opposition party supporters to degrade and dent the ruling party. I believe this is just a political game.

It is a pity that those animals in human body that looted Nigeria treasure dried in six years, turned surplus to national debt, turned zero national debt balance from Obasanjo to over $400 billions in debt, realizeD billions of dollars in surplus from oil revenue than any president in Nigerian history but has nothing good or tangible to show for it can accuse the First Lady of using N100,000 bag while on foreign trip. They put us in the economic pains and difficulties we are currently experiencing because of their looting and reckless spending. And as for criminal Fayose who claimed that Mrs. Aisha Buhari would be arrested in the U.S, only an a fool and insane Nigerians will believe anything that comes from Fayose’s lying mouth. And as for those of you trying to tarnish PMB by calling a N100,000 bag for N68 millions, only God will deliver you from your wickedness and false accusations. As for those that are praying for PMB admistration faluire because is not business as usual in high places, truth will always prevail. This great president was elected and sworn in at a time when the country was completely dead due to corruption and bad governance, now people want him to perform miracles or magic in 14 months, what an unrealistic expectations. According to Rev. Father Mbaka last year in May, 2015, “Jonathan administration handed over to Buhari a nation like skeleton of a cow with all the vital organs removed” But today, they are all calling for those dried bones to be resurrected within 14 months even as crude oil price has drop sharply in international market. And as for those criticising PMB based on tribalism and pure hatred because is not from your tribe or region, if he is voted out in 2019 because of your anwsered prayers, do you think someone from your tribe will succeed Buhari? You must be joking if that is your calculation or expectation. At this junction, the Bible says, “pray for the peace of Jerusalem…..” My advice is that all peace loving Nigerians should pray for the success of this administration, and each of us should do our part to make Nigeria a great nation. Nigerian youths should go back to agriculture, poultry, farming, cash crops, and shun corporate jobs that are not in existence. Nigeria budget under Buhari has been reduced by over 70% because of the sharp drop in crude oil. PMB is doing a great job with little funds from oil revenue. States must rise up to the challenge and device mean to generate revenue aside from federal monthly allocations. Nigeria would have been destroyed if not for God Almighty who set up Buhari to help stop the bleeding due to corruption, embezzlement, and gross mismanagement that characterized Jonathan terrible administration.

PMB may God continue to help you, so sad that you are so soft with all the corrupt officials as our country is becoming a lawless nation, nothing is working…pls fix the basic things for ordinary Nigerians, electricity and roads.
I will advise you to suspend this human right stuff, Nigeria needs an iron hand to put it back to right direction. Your system with Idiagbon is seriously needed now.
God help Nigeria.

On the subject matter, i may be wrong, but this woman will not be comfortable to be using a bag worth of the millions mentioned here so let’s assume it’s a replica or she herself do not know the price, that means gift.
Let every Nigerian keep on praying for real, we are in deep problem.

Some of our people can’t think on their own, can anyone name a shop where such a bag is being sold for N35M ? If a teacher used the same bag no one would raise any eyebrow. A month after PMB was sworn-in people were crying that Aisha Buari wore N1.0B shoe to the extent that someone that never entered into a shoe shop was among those complained. We failed to cry out loud for budget padding, we kept silent on so many issues that are more serious but Aisha headtie, Kaba, wristwatch, shoes etc we paid attention to.
