December 2, 2015 – Pictures: Young Lady Shot Dead By Unknown Security Operatives As Pro Biafra Protest Turns Violent In Onitsha Anambra State

A peaceful pro-Biafra rally turned violent today in Onitsha as protesters suddenly started destroying properties of Northerners in the area.

Before the tragedy that ended the life of this innocent lady, about 4 Dangote trucks were set on fire.

During the protest, one of the security operatives in the area reportedly opened fire on the protesters killing her in the process. Several others also sustained serious injuries.

The victim who hailed from Adazi Nnukwu area of Anambra has been identified as Nkiruka Ikeanyionwu, a 21-year-old student of the Federal College of Education in Umunze Anambra State.

Please let our youths learn to say NO to violence.

We can’t achieve anything reasonable with violence.

May her soul rest in peace.

So this is what fickle- minded Nigerians called peaceful protest, henceforth, anybody found organizing or attempt to encourage disaffection towards the government has committed treason. I cannot comprehend reasons behind this Biafra hopelessness, disturbances from “Arab north” and “Israelite”south-east.

Eeiih!!, The script writer of the acted death picture of the lady lying in pool of blood must be commended cos the fake image has managed to capture the attention of Nigerians and the world at large. Its amazing how a dead rioter got pillowed in the mist of all the confusions and mayhem of demonstrations, with a “pinkish blood” sprinkled around her blue shirt. If the people of the East wants sympathy for their course, then; they must refrain from the drama and mischief they are engaged in and allow common sense be their guide. I’m not too sure weather they think the rest of millions of Nigerians observing from a distance could be taken for fools and would easily fall for mischievours pranks as it unfolded in Onitsha. The miscreants agitating for independent Biafran state should endeavour to make calls to their relatives and brothers domiciled and in successful businesses in other parts of Nigeria, to find out if their senseless agitations finds favour in their hearts and or weather there are no panicks of a rekindled repatriations of millions of their counterparts fearing another civil war. Unfortunately, majority of demonstrators and organisers of the agitations are illiterate market traders who have never learnt the history of Biafran war beyond what their leaders want them to believe in as a tribe being vilified and marginalised. Nigerians may not be totally wrong afterall, if they doubt the commitments and loyalty of the people from the East to the course of a unified Nigeria.

“History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamour of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people”-Martin Luther King Jr.
Please I will appeal to the South-eastern governors and the Ndigbo community elders, to call their youths to order-
“A word they say is enough for the wise”!
May the souls of the departed rest in peace.

Eni sango ti oju e wole, koni ba won bu oba koso mo!. I believe it is the socalled youth who did not witnessed the lost, the anguish, the pains, the massive death and agony during the civil wars are crying war. Why dying for no reasons. Is there BI in heaven. Wat if she gets to heaven and there is no BI or Races there. She will realised she had been foolish on earth. Why dying for the things we met in this world and will definitely leave it.People died for races fight, religious fight, political fight…A B C parties. ordinary letters! WHAT A WASTE. Is there religion in heaven, is there races or political parties in heaven? We perish cos we lack knowledge so the bible says!

experience sometimes is said to b the best teacher but i think a wiser learner does not need to experience what has happened to others before he or she can tread with caution, what was the experience of Biafra and its effect on the people after it came and had passed? is it not enough for people to seek the peace of their family members even if they don’t like a peaceful life? there’s nothing in life worth fighting for where options of peace and unity exist, u need to get a clue of d civil war for you to count ur teeth with your tongue, a horrible experience indeed it was which at the expense of thousands of innocent lives was an effort in futility. think, great people of Nigeria on how to harness d wealth God has endowed this Nation with in the its furtherance to greater heights, think of how to carve ur name in the sands of time as people who desired the Peace of it’s inhabitants and not the origin of sentiment and selfish interest, think.. think…great Nigerians
