Ranona Nigeria Ltd, a franchisee to Candia, a France-based diary products manufacturer has suffered a huge loss.

Earlier today, a wild fire broke out from the manufacturing section of the company located in Isolo area of Lagos.

Within 30 minutes, the whole building was engulfed in fire.

Some workers were trapped while many of them managed to come out alive.

A source who dropped a comment on NaijaGists.com blog this morning said 10 workers died including two of his friends.

Ranona, a popular diary product manufacturer in Nigeria employed 220 staff in 2011.

As at last year, their staff base grew to 350.
