A fully loaded petrol tanker caught fire around 9:30am on Wednesday morning, causing a traffic gridlock on the popular Sagamu-Benin Ore express.
The fire caused tension at Mechanic Village as some motorists abandoned their cars to avoid getting caught in the inferno. It was put out around 10:30….. See photos
A trailer carrying a full-loaded container also fell while trying to make a u-turn.
