Meet Jinakul, a 91-year-old grandmother who completed her university education today in Thailand.
The Nonagenarian who dropped out of High School because her family couldn’t finance her education now has a story to tell.
She bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology at Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, near Bangkok this morning.
The University said Kimlun didn’t receive any special treatment . She reportedly failed several of her courses and had to retake examinations several times.
Here is what one of her grandchildren, Bhum Juasiripakde said today as she received her certificate:
“She is a very determined person. We all support her while making sure she remains in good health.”
That is the power of determination!

This fine Mama has every cause to walk tall with this great achievement at such great age. We thank God for keeping her alive and well to live her dream and make history in the process. If Thailand people behave like Nigerians you can be sure she will insist on being addressesed as Graduate Kimlun or Human Ecologist Kimlun henceforth…..and she earned her stripes legitimately.
Congratulations Madam!!!

Words correctly spelt/total words in the write up = 22/23 × 100 = 95.6% ~ 96% . Ojerinde, that is your score.
Words correctly spelt/total words in the write up = 17/18 × 100 = 94.4% ~ 94%. Score for DON.
I think, the above arithmetic will speak for itself.
DON, my simple message for you is, you need an urgent fundamental change of heart………………….You are one of those people who have skewed mindset. People like you don’t applaud others when they are doing well but will be the first to climb the roof top with megaphone to announce the apparent shortcoming they perceive in others. That’s is a retropulsive mindset at work. You refused to comment on the 22 correctly spelt words but it wasn’t difficult for you to spot just 1 apparent mistake(due to mother tongue interference) and your happiness new no bound because of the treasure you uncovered. The next thing we heard was BOOOOOM!!! You detonated the bomb.
Ojerinde was bold enough to declare one of his utmost heart desires. Why not stay on your lane if you can’t help him out.
Mtcheew, pardon me great grand mama. I was carried away. Your message to the entire world will have a far-reaching and desired impact on young and willing minds…..Education is the key…….Never give up on your dream.
You can now go home a fulfilled soul.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I can see for real that determination is success. Humility comes b4 honor. I doubt if a Nigerian @60 can be spotted battling with academics in a university. This mama took the bull by the horn in order to answer a graduate. Congratulations Big Mama!
