Women’s right? Equality? Sometimes I wonder where we are going with all this noise.

    1) Let’s say a form for a political office is out for sale to interested individuals, women buy it at a lower price than the men. INEQUALITY ACCEPTED.

2). While many women argue that they should not pay tax at all, a vast many still maintain that their tax should be less than what the man pays. INEQUALITY ACCEPTED.

3). In creation, God Himself told the woman that her place shall ever be under the man. INEQUALITY REJECTED.

I am just watching, thinking what difference that these women hope to make with this their selective approach to gender issues. Gender equality should be equality everywhere and in every aspect.

Women Equality is a tall Dream as long as African setting is concern. Though, i know about two countries in Africa, Malawi & Liberia where women are even made Presidents.

However, the rest of the countries around make mockery of them cos, its Un-African for a woman to lead the men.

No amount of civilization or a 21 century trend can change that fact.
Even if the whole World unanimously and suddenly adopt this madness called “Women Equality“ trust me, Nigeria as a Nation will come last.

What a wasted exercise? We have so many problems at hand to deal with in this country instead of this lousy distraction.

Just droped by. I wish to…

Good on you Rita and the other women.. Yes gender equity is very far from Nigeria because of our way of thinking and how low the Nigerians men looked down at women!
However, I’ m very happy to see how some women are speaking up. Good great work ladies.:)
Ps Rita my dear, marriage is not the ultimate in life and doesn’t give all the happiness in life..
So if your happy the way your life is, pls carry on and live it the way it pleases you. Besides if you were married,
Bad belle people will still bad about you..
    Happy Esaster..

God made the woman to be a helpmate to man.The women are saying it is not alright for a man to die n his wife is suddenly a muderer. It cannot be right to subject someone else’s child to inhumane treatment just because ur son(her husband)died b4 her.It cannot be right to take kids away from their widowed mother thereby making them suffer d loss of both parents’ love n presence. The woman also loses her kids in addition to her husband. These among others (as stated in the proposed bill)is what d women are asking for.
