Russian Ambassador To Turkey, Andrei Karlov Assassinated On Live By Turkish Policeman In Ankara Turkey
An off duty policeman who lost control murdered Ambassador Andrei Karlov at an art gallery in Ankara tonight.
The gunman identified as 22-year-old Mevlut Mert Altintas, an offduty officer of the Ankara Special Forces reportedly stormed the new art gallery in Ankara tonight and shot Ambassador Karlov several times in the back.
The out of control gunman reportedly yelled:
“Stand back! Stand back! Only death will take me out of here. Anyone who has a role in this oppression will die one by one.”
Shortly after the above rant, he opened fire on 62-year-old Andrei Karlov and shot him multiple times at close range.
Altintas was later heard yelling:
‘Allahu Akbar (God is great). We die in Aleppo, you die here!”

While trying to make his way out of the gallery, members of the Ankara Special Forces Police Department shot him dead.
This fatal terror attack happened days after violent protests erupted in Turkey over Russia’s role in the Aleppo massacre.
His sister and mother have been arrested.
