Less than 3 days to the Gubernatorial election in Ekiti state, sources from the Presidency indicated that the Oga at the top is not happy over the report of PDP Governorship candidate, Fayose’s imminent bad performance at the poll.
The President is said to be at unease over the security report, which signaled that Fayose may not win the next election.
The report which was submitted to the presidency on Monday pointed out that ” The noise and show of support being exhibited by Mr Ayo fayose has no relationship with the reality on ground”
The report revealed that “While Mr Ayodele Fayose is busy glowing in the euphoria of being popular , the Government in power has gone underground , canvassing for votes and convincing the people why the incumbent should be voted for again”
The report unveiled the cat and mouse relationship between candidate Fayose and the others PDP aspirants ” There is a simmering and unhealthy relationship between candidate Ayo fayose and some PDP aspirants who refused to be placated by the intervention of the president after the primaries. Some of these aspirants have been relegated into the background and nursing grudges with the aim of working against candidate Fayose .””
This report has caused uneasiness at the presidency which led President Jonathan in setting up a five member committee to ensure that Ekiti election is won at all cost .
The committee advised that the president should encourage the adoption of unholy tactics for the Ekiti election.These unholy tactics include , militarization of ekiti , unwholesome arrest and detention of members of APC and the forceful stepping down of the candidate of Labour Party who is seen as a sympathizer of PDP
The source further said that Jonathan’s order caused the arrest of APC governor Rotimi Amaechi in Ondo state while he was going to rally for APC candidate, Fayemi in Ado Ekiti today.
Is our oga at the top gradually turning into a dictator????? Does he have the right to order the arrest of any governor in this country…. what of impunity????

Instead of the president to focus on other pressing issues he is busy fighting Gov. Amechi and other APC governors. Instead of thinking of how to tackle the current state of insecurity and create jobs for millions of unemployed youth he is busy accusing opposition party as the problem of Nigeria. Na wah o!

One of the reason this nation is not moving forward is that we celebrate failure, suffering and smiling. We are celebrating government that cannot boost of one week constant power supply, government that cannot create job for 80% unemployed youth, government that is very good in looting the finance of her country and indulge in other corrupt practices. They will spend more than 5years in governance yet nothing to show for it, they will want to spend the rest of their life in power. I sorry for my people, I sorry for Nigeria.
