Relocating To Toronto Canada From Nigeria With Family This Week

Hello dearies and fans in Nigeria and all over the world, am sad to inform you that am returning to Canada this week.

But why???!!.

Well it is a long struggle.

Ever since I returned from Canada following an attack at our home in Ibadan, my hubby has been pressing me to return to get proper medical attention.

Although I initially rejected his advice but after due consultation with family members and mentors, we have decided to lease out our new house, pack our “bags and baggages” and return to Canada for a while.

For now, I require medical check up every two weeks so doctors can check my stitches and ensure it is healing (the attack was very bad).

Am not surprised I was attacked because this world is full of evil people.

I will be documenting my journey going forward and carry you along.

When I landed in Canada, I will start a Professional YouTube Show (not common channel) to inspire people, teach them unique creative skills and also share my experiences.

So what is next for NaijaGists.com.

NG is here to stay but we will be carrying mainly breaking news, celebrity news and information (how to guides, information ideas).

All our workers will not lose their job as everything will remain the same.

The payroll aspect will be taken care of by my business partner who heads NaijaGists head office in Ikeja, Lagos.

Don’t worry my sweethearts, I will keep in touch.

I will soon invite una to come party with me in Toronto for my upcoming 40th birthday.

I love you all.

Pray with me as I heal and stay strong during this period.

Being alive is indeed a great privilege that most people take for granted.

I saw death face to face but The Great One delivered me.

My husband neutralized one of the robbers while the other one was crushed by a car while trying to flee with the bag he snatched from me.

I believe one day Nigeria will change for the better.

  1. Please take me with you. I have been trying to secure Canada visa for awhile.
Do u know anyone at the embassy

    • my dear Canadian embassy does not run like the Government offices in Nigeria, they keep it real with everyone as long as you have all the requirements to prove you’re genuine.

  2. Keep me informed when you get to Toronto, we might do something together. I have loved to read your blog. I wish you all the best and may the good Lord continue to put His hand on you to heal you

  3. Thank God for saving your life and that of your family. Good for heeding to your husband’s advise to return back to Canada to properly take care of your injuries. You will be fully healed in Jesus name, Amen.

  4. Too bad u passed through such horrible scene in your mother land.many people abroad who plan to come back and invest withdrew their consideration when bubu rigged himself back to power.expect no improvement until power changes hands.

    • Your first 3 lines are making sense until you turned it to political rift. You just can’t get over the pain, for fact that Bubu won. Who told you Atiefku would be any better?. And as much as I love young guys to take over power, who guarantee you that can perform well?. They never tasted power. What if they get there, taste power and get intoxicated by power?. You just be Igbo nigga. Your entire states is proPDP

      Take heart

      Kpele

  5. Good. We love you, and we want you to be alive and happy. If relocating to Canada is the best pls do asap. Also hope I will be invited over for your birthday?😀🙏 #wink#

You may choose to email me if you wish! All the best in Canada.

  7. The sad things about this news is you were attacked at your home in Nigeria, wounded and was receiving treatment from far away Canada, your second home probably.

It’s obvious your hubby may have access to some privy info about 9ja in general and this is an attestation that Nigeria is irredeemable,it bleeds my heart, and imagine millions who don’t have any other choice, his pressure for you to be out is because Nigeria may explode very soon and keeping his family safe is his priority.
I wish you journey mercy and quick recovery, you will be in better place to be updating us regularly.

  8. I am a Tanzanian living in the US. I am fan of your blog. I have come to know a lot about Nigeria through your blog. It is my prayers that you have a quick recovery and continue to inform the world. Amen

  9. You supported this government and brought Buhari back to power, now you are running away to Canada under the guise of medical care, why don’t you stay here and enjoy the Buhari government you earnestly campaigned for. There are good hospitals that can take care of your stitches in Nigeria

    • Thanks for making your point known @Amy. I have never campaigned for any politician and will never do. I’m not running away to Canada under any guise. I relocated to Nigeria from Canada years ago so get your fact right. It is my right to live anywhere I choose to, you have no right to tell me what to do.

    • Amy to hell with your insensitive comment. Someone stabbed or robbed by robbers is travelling abroad for post surgery check up and you are here accusing her of supporting politicians. You are so nasty and disgusting.
If I am the owner of this site, I will block bot-head like you.
I have been reading sympathy messages from many until I say ur attack comment.
      Foolish Amy Go to hell.

    • Naijagists if you know her IP just block it in your hosting panel. I can’t believe you even approved this her unkind comment. She is insulting you on your own site and you allowed her. It is not done

      • Thanks for the suggestion @Francesca Adjoa. It is a platform for freedom of expression but if a commentator goes too far, we do remove such. All her comments from henceforth will be flagged for review.

    • Amy you are a fool. U don’t belong here. How dare you insult an intelligent person like her. Can you even do half of what she is doing. to hell with you foolish tribalist.
If you try this nonsense on my blog, I will deal with your punk ass. fool

  10. My sweetheart, I have been following your blog since 2012 and there is never a day I never learn one thing or the other. Nigeria is not a place for people like you. You are better off in western world. I hope you get your stay in Canada soon. Stay safe and don’t mingle with many Nigerians. Don’t let them know your immigration status, they may report you to the immigration themselves. Pls be wise as you embark on this journey.
    Love from Australia

  11. So sorry to hear you were attacked. But what happened. Tell us the full story before you leave.
I am happy you listened to your husband. Human voice is sometimes God call.
Take care and enjoy your stay there. Don’t eat too much fatty food.

    • why not remove her first comment also. she is a foe and not your fan. People like Amy should not be allowed to have a say on dis platform. She is stupid. Who is she by the way. This is the first time am reading her comment.

    • I visit this site daily, can we have a prove that she campaigned for any politician? Common get well soon is difficult for you to say but you can point an accusing fingers. Even at that, she owes you or no one an explanation to dat…..stop making your assumption look real.

    • You should have just removed the comment. She is a bigot because I have never seen you write such in comments. Mad Amy this site is not for people like you.

      • I was just preparing to send you my proposal for consideration when I saw dt you are a married mother of 2. Am heartbroken

  12. If this is your true picture, you are a really strong person. You look like a native of Ijebugbo. Are you my sister, please say yes

Please I beg of you ma don’t quit.
A lot of people depend on your site to draw inspiration daily

  14. Sorry I have not been commenting because of arthritis but I do read all the posts.
So you are going away? If u ever plant to come back, I will help you secure a safe place in Lagos.
There are safe estates to live comfortable in Ibadan also. Let’s chat. Email me if u like

  15. So sorry to hear this am one of your readers am a mass communication student from university of Bedford in UK who pick up ideas from your blog to develop mine. This what we are talking about our government is not helping our many are planing to come home to do something in order to help the economy but the lack of security would not allow that. Pls get well may the good lord continue to guide you and your family .stay blessed in the lord

    • If law enforcement are upright, they will get it done. Unfortunately bcus politicians love police to be corrupt so as to get their ways, is the reason they dont care. Politicians should not control law enforcement. WHats stopping them from reforming police academy?. They travel to western world and they know how things work. But corruption won’t let them.

This Is not a president responsibilities alone. He needs congress for his decision to be meaningful. I wish we are still in the military era. This crap would stop

  16. MAY GOD PROTECTS,PROVIDE FOR U/UR FAMILY ANYWHERE UNA GO AMEN. LONG LIVE NAIJAGIST.COM I VISIT IT DAY,NIGHT ,MIDNIGHT.

  17. Everywhere is as unsafe as they could be safe. Although, we are responsible for our own safety in Nigeria, as that is what the country has been reduced to. May God keep you where you are going too. Sorry for what you had to go through but I will suggest you keep your private affairs off your blog. You never know who is who

  18. Thank God for your life and your family. Infact, you have made the best decision as regards to your relocation to a sane society. The last time I visited Nigeria, the daredevil bandits tried to do the same thing but they did not realize I have left already, they thought I was still around, they came with Okada and attacked my brother instead, they robbed him of little money he had. I was their target but God miraculously saved me out of this tragic and I thank God my brother was not killed in the process.

Nigeria insecurity has reached pandemic. Unless if one has already signed his death warrant. Most of these set up came from the people who are more closer to you. Having said this, the question is, is there anything we and/or our Government can do to put an end to this nightmare? that is if we really have any. It is heart broken to realize that now I’m more safer to visit Ghana on vacation instead of going to my ancestral home. It is even more sad that Ghana is secured than Nigeria in terms of security.

  19. Wherever that is peace is someone’s home. The current clime of our beloved nation is not friendly for anyone but people with alternate place of domicile aside Nigeria should never be blamed. We shall continue to pray for you and for those of us still in the country, God will show us favour and mercy. Let us all pray for Nigeria no matter where we are. God will surely turn things around for good very sson.

God bless and keep you and your family. Stay safe and stay blessed!

  20. Why so much reaction pouring in? I have never experienced this number in Naijagists.com, so improving for good.

  21. I wish you safe trip back to Canada. Secondly speedy recovery i wish you as well as almighty protection over you and your family .

  22. I expect you to leave before you tell . Even from home to the Airport is quite a journey. You keep exposing yourself to dangers. “Guide your heart with all dilligence for out of it are issues of life”. A man’s best enemy is a member of his household. God Bless and keep you, Amen.

  23. As in you were attacked… this is so sad and heartbreaking… pls get well soon sis. May God’s hand be over you and your household… much love… #ihavedominion

Amy take a sense pill okay.. ?

  24. This just shows how much love people have for you. May God continue to protect you and your family. I read your blog from Chicago. Much love. You do a great job. Keep the wheels rolling.
