The founder of of IGI Insurance PLC, Remi Olowude has passed on.

The wealthy business mogul died on Sunday morning at an undisclosed hospital in America several months after battling Prostate cancer.

Before now, tension has been mounting over his health since he was diagnosed of Cancer few months ago during a routine medical check up in the United Kingdom.

He died on Sunday morning at the age of 62.

The deceased hailed from Inisha 1 in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria.

He bagged a degree in Economics at UNILAG in 73 after which he proceeded to University of Santa Clara, California for his masters.

The deceased is survived by his amiable wife, Olufunmi Olowude. He was blessed with many children and grand children.

Family members of the deceased are set to fly his remains back home.
