10 passengers of an 18-seater bus were on Monday burnt alive in a fatal motor accident along the popular Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
FRSC Commander at Oluyole Unit, Mr Sanya Adeoye who confirmed the mishap said only 4 people survived the incident while the 10 others got burnt beyond recognition.
In his account of the incident, the Ibadan-bound Toyota Hiace commercial bus with registration number BDG 767 XB had stopped for one of the trucks with registration number SW 175 EPE coming out from NSCE Quarry when another truck rammed into the bus from behind and smashed it against the truck in front, thereby getting sandwiched between the two trucks.
The body of the deceased had been transferred to Adeoyo State Hospital mortuary on Ring Road in Ibadan as efforts were being made to contact their families using the driver’s manifest.

There are too many blood-sucking demons on that road at least every week someone must die there

What a waste of life what the hell went wrong with the driver that smashed the 18 seater bus. Lack of regulations on the type of cars on our road is a big problem.
3 years ago, I saw over 8 dead bodies on that same road.
