Robbery must be condemned .However I feel the sentence is too severe for the crime. Shouldn’t we then hang all the politicians who have continued to loot our economy?

Hey guys, pay close attention to the charge; “ARMED ROBBERY”. Under the law, this act is considered unlawful binary crime. Carrying arms without permission or certification by appropriate authority is a serious crime. Using the unauthorized weapon(s) to intimidate and rob citizen(s) directly or otherwise under the law, death penalty is the next button. Pilfering and embezzlement on this planet, are not considered armed robbery so the punishment(s) is/are less severe.

I’m a student of the law myself but come on, this is too severe a punishment for a crime as armed robbery. Why do I strongly feel a foul play somewhere? Anyway, it’s all in God’s hands.

If all thieves where to be executed in Nigeria, then a river of blood would be flowing from the state house in Abuja to Calabar. All Nigerian Politicians are thieves and the worse thieves of the world. why hang a young man who stool less than N 300,000 while the director of National Pension fund who stole billions is still moving free. Why the Minister of Aviation is still flying in jets with billions of stolen n and buying bullet prove cars.
Hang all Politicians in Nigeria, then can a real clean-up campaign yield and arm robbery stop

Human rights should stand up for this poor boy, he must not die for this offense. Though i am not in support of what he did, we all know that stealing is wrong but the gravity of his offense does not warrant death by any means. Even if he should be jailed for life, i think it is more welcomed than this.
Civil right groups please, Femi Falana will you watch and see this boy killed? Please do something and save this poor boy.
We condemn crime, our young ones please live a responsible life and avoid this kind of misfortune.
My prayer to you boy is that all hope is not lost, God is always there for people like you but remember this when he sets you free ” Go and sin no more”

Hi guys, the judgement is too harsh to this poor boy, crime is not good and their is no justification for crime but to hang this boy is too bad, why is it that the elite commit crime and go free in nigeria but when a person from poor background commit crime the judges will remember that Nigeria have law, quote the sections and subsection(clause). our thief politicians are being set free anytime they commit crime in Nigeria but in another country the will jail them. may God help us.
