According to investigations, Timi Dakolo and his wife who attended the burial ceremony of Oronto Douglas’s dad in Bayelsa state for a performance were offered an option to stay on the now crashed helicopter in order to make it on time to a performance in Rivers State.
Timi Dakolo said he was meant to stay on the crashed chopper so as to make it on time for his performance at the Carniriv, Rivers State annual carnival.
Timi and Busola opted for road travel at the last minute. The chopper killed 5 people at the crash site.
In another development, Nigerian actor Ramsey Nouah was rumoured to be among the causalities of the fatal chopper crash.
However an unconfirmed reports said the actor is currently alive in Abuja.
