Soul singer Timi Dakolo might have crossed his boundary when he took to the social media today to call out divorced people for giving love a bad name.

The happily married father of 3 argued that marriage is for two complete adults who have patience to tolerate each other.

His words:

While many are busy blasting the musician for crossing the line, a lady named Sophie Anderson made an intelligent comment.

Her words:

“people don’t just wake up and get a divorce. If every divorcee can be truthful they will tell you that before the marriage, one or two things were not in order but they felt they could endure it, it could also be that they didn’t really get to know their spouse very well because of circumstances or material things, it may also be that God was not invited into that marriage from day one.

I perfectly understand @timidakolo ‘s post and I think we should all ask ourselves real questions before marriage. Nobody can be real to you better than you. Most importantly, pray about it and get answers, that is the ultimate. A word is enough for the wise.”

On a more serious note, we have no right to blame people who get divorce.

Many left their marriages to escape the grip of death while others just happen to find themselves in a situation they least expected.
