The result of the survey reveals that Nollywood movies are extremely popular among Nigerians after about 98 percent of the participants questioned acknowledged that they enjoy watching Nollywood movies.
The survey result further revealed that 39% love drama, 40% love comedy movies while 14% of the survey participants love romance movies.
The most important factor that compels people to watch most movies is the actress / actor involved, a clear indication that using the best actress or actor in a movie is usually an essential success factor.
Although the vast majority of Nigerians (about 48%) rate Nollywood movies as interesting, most people questioned also agree with the fact their storyline need improvement.
