The founder of Reigners Bible Church in Uyo has finally cleared the air by claiming innocence for the building collapse that killed over 160 members of his church on Saturday.

Akan Weeks who is currently hospitalized in Uyo urged Nigerians to remember him in their prayers as the attack came from the kingdom of darkness.

  1. No one expects you to admit if ever it’s true…But only God in heaven knows the truth.

Nigerians like me are worried because most of the so called Pastors in Nigeria are for fame, riches and material things, prophesying falsely always and exploiting the masses with their fake miracles.

The messages from real men of God should be good news, explaining the things Jesus have already done for mankind and for people to embrace HIM as HE has already won the battle, to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

The freewill is about making the choice between choosing God and Satan, whom to follow and every decision has consequences….

  2. “one of my legs was seriously damaged.” That’s the same leg we were made to know is to be amputated. Update us on the issue right away. We comit all into the hands of the Almighty. If you are out for fame and riches, remember 160 souls have perished and will keep hunting for you. May their gentle souls RIP and may God shower His healing blessings upon the injured. To the believed, we grieve with u.

  3. If we (black people in particular) continue to ignore common sense this type of incident will not stop. Based on my observations, the structure collapsed due to sound energy from the worshippers. You know that in physics, sound travels wave-like and if that happens in an incomplete building it will collapse because all the intertwine structural support are not in place. Sound energy is responsible for cracks on bridges and walls the vibrations from those vociferous worshippers will compromise structural integrity of yet to be completed building. Poor architectural design could be another culprit, but certainly it is silly to believe it was a spiritual attack!

  4. @Danti have you being into the church building prior to it collapsed to know how it was constructed and how the sound wave from worshipers could affect it? Perhaps I would have accepted your physics theory if you had being one of the worshipers who can really testify to how the gigantic building structure was constructed before it usage.

Many worshipers who survived the tragic incident on that day said they noticed that the pillars supporting the giant structure at the middle were removed and replaced with so many sits perhaps to accommodate more invitees. And due to this deliberate act which had the full support of the church committees
And it core leader Apostle Akan Weeks, the well structured building still under construction went collapsing right from the middle claiming many lives at that spot leaving those at the side of the building unhurt. And due to the fact that the load of all the cross beams supporting the roof can no longer be sustained or virtually has no pillars to rest upon at the middle,it then caved in on unsuspecting worshipers. This is why your sound wave physics theory cannot be accepted in this scenario!

When evil men wants to perpetrate their demonic act, they do employ more subtle and imperceptible way that will completely be beyond the comprehension of most observers. The divination and occultic power they’ve resorted to using can make it seem impossible for most people to know see things beyond the surface. Sometimes they execute their evil deeds in a more physical manner that will completely take people unaware from the actual fact which in this case eventually lead to people questioning the HUMAN SACRIFICE the apostle Akan was alleged with.

Physics can indeed explain why many buildings and structures do collapsed but not in this scenario. My most disappointment is that, this evil man will never be charged for this atrocity because (first) the law of the land does not recognized the use of magical power to carry out evil on people(second) the events leading to the collapsed of the building by the church committees and it leader will likely not be looked into. The whole blame will be hauled on the building contractors for allegedly using inferior materials for the building. The fact still remains that God in heaven knows how to bring evil men like this to judgement. They may temporarily escape justice and continue to enjoy the bliss of their ill-gotten wealth made out of the blood of innocent ones but not without it consequence.

  5. Living in Nigeria is so scary now because in another decade, we don’t know what this Country will become. We are still living primitively despite the fact that some of us are educated and have a lot of exposure. Since there is no job in Nigeria couple with the bad economy situation in this Country has compel many young folks to seek quick solution to end being remain poor thereby transferring that burden to innocent people instead of taking their aggression to the government. The youths of this Country can go through revolutionary way to save this Country from hands of oppressors.

The Nigerian youths are so myopic to the extent that they prefer seeking solution through diabolical and satanic way. We have many churches in Nigerian than any other Country in the whole world yet our condition is not improving. Many young men have turned out to be the agents of demon in order to escape poverty just like the above pastor. A pastor that will put on designer clothing not minding if any member of his congregation has eaten that day. The real pastor that I know will surrender all their properties to promote development of Christianity. How can you call yourself a man of God and none of your congregants cannot afford to attend your school yet you still following that man?.

Sometimes ago i read from the news that one of these Pastors Oyakilomeh was displacing his Suit on sale for $350 thousand dollars and some people will buy that just because he is a pastor and his name will be used to enter the kingdom of heaven. Nonsense! Is this part of Christian doctrine? instead how come he didn’t give this to a poor man or donate it to the charity? When are we going to realize that these people are not for real that we are better off without them.?

What this Pastor did is called genocide. I think it is time for the government to intervene in this process by drawing out regulations on how these Churches should operate. Any church can be forced to close down if there is any avoidable death and the founder has to be prosecuted for at least lesser crime such as negligence homicide. They have to be forced to pay heavy fines up to Billions of Naira to the family of victims. If nothing is done to prevent future occurrence of this tragic, these silent killers AKA fake pastors will continue to kill innocent people for their own survival.

There is one bad thing about we Nigerians, once we realize that somebody get away with some crimes others will continue to follow the same pattern. If TB Joshua has been successfully prosecuted, this pastor will be so careful to do the same.
