A confused mother has been arrested in Benin city, Edo state for dumping her newborn baby in a residential home in the area.
According to ITV report, the woman identified as Joy Tunde dumped the baby the same day she delivered her.
Miss Tunde reportedly threw the baby through the fence into her neighbour’s compound on Obazuaye Street in Evbareke Quarters area of Benin city.
During her confession, she said she abandoned the newborn baby girl because the man who impregnated her refused to accept the baby.

Please do not beat her or jail her. Give her all necessary treatment. That was evil spirit voices telling her to throw the baby. She needs serious care and also as Jide Micheal said yes is true she needs mental evaluation.
Please police she just gave birth do not be brutal to her. she showed up that means she did not do it on right mind. Please help her and hand the baby to her. That baby will be great in future like me. That case is similar to the way I was born and today nothing nothing can kill me or ruin I am great with Gods help. I was nearly removed through abortion from my late mum but my adopted dad ran to my rescue. I thank god I came into this world because i have safe souls.

Its frustration, why didn’t the man that impregnated her support her until the child grows up. I don’t know why men are always so wicked to women. its not easy to nurse a child without any income or help. our men should grow up, and those of you blaming her please blame the man more. thank you.

Poor baby may God send u helpers that can take good care of u and also love and cherish u ijn amen people are praying to God to bless them with a child even if is just one look at who got her own freely without no stress throwing her own away well I think people like her have no conscience.
