osaze enyeama leaving super eagles

July 1st, 2014 – Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama & Striker Osaze Odemwingie Leaves Nigerian Super Eagles

After yesterday’s defeat in Brazil, Stoke City forward, Osaze Odemwingie said he is leaving the Super Eagles.

“I am happy we played well but lost. I am not too sure now weather to wish we played badly and win or the other way round.

“Whatever the case, I am happy I am leaving the team in the hands of capable upcoming juniors. They should be held together for a long time.

“For me I am not getting younger, I need to get home and evaluate what plans I have for the future”.

In response to the fact that he was still young, he said “that is why I was not conclusive. But to tell you, I will like to face club action.

“I still have three years left in my contract. I will like to stick with the club. I am not discussing any moves. I am happy at my club.

“For me, I have had a fulfilled time with the national team. I have enjoyed every moment of it. I need to quit now.

“The upcoming players in the team are good. They need all the chance. I just have to go,” he said.

Nigerian goalkeeper Enyeama apologised to Nigerians for the failure of the team to have won.

“I want you all to forgive us. You have all done well to support us to this stage.”

For taking that handicap players to the World cup apart from osaze n enyeama. Senseless Coach. You re The worst team in this tournament. Olodo. Osaze. I beg you did well. osaze don’t tell us u want to quit bcos of what happened u guys tried just that yobo messed up big time well since our guy enyeama has apologised,i will say apology accepted i think people like mike, yobo, and some other players who don’t know how to cross the ball to their partners, these ones should be the one to leave the nigeria team and finally our oga at the top keshi should also leave too bcos he was never serious with the players why other coach were busy running around to make sure their boys played well,we need someone who can handle the team well is it crime for naija team to bring the cup home others have done it so if we cordinate ourselves well we can also do it and break that yoke so that’s why we need a serious and a better coach to pick up from where keshi stopped.

I tink d last 2 keepers we had in dis co3 dt was as good as Vincent Enyeama were Peter Rufai & Joseph Dosu.
So if Enyeama leaves now, wat happen 2 our post? Who will Man d post? As 4 Osaze, i lk 2 refare 2 him as d Super Eagles “Golden Boy“. He is almost irreplaceable in dt wing yet he‘s opting 2 leave?
Hummm! Gbege de o. Sometin is definitely wrong somewhr. NFA shld b questioned.

yes something is wrong, how can you go to world cup with benched players? what happened to regular players in their club side? how can you go to world cup with home base players? he claim that some of the professional players were stubborn while he was the one that started it when he was playing for Nigeria, well some of the players tried but some are always confuse whenever they have the ball, i wish he learn from his mistakes, goodluck Enyema and Osaze.
