Less than a week after 2 Chinese expatriates were abducted in Lokoja, 3 other Chinese nationals were today kidnapped in Kogi state.
The victims were kidnapped by 12 gunmen who stormed their official residence around 4am to 5am today.
One of the 5 officers attached to the building was killed by the kidnappers.
Kogi Police Commissioner, Adeyemi Ogunjemilusi said the kidnappers escaped with their victims through the bush.
He confirmed that one policeman was killed and another one was injured, saying that the police are on the trail of the gunmen.
