Mary 8, 2016 – 70 Year Old Robber Arrested In Kano Confesses To Police “I Steal To Feed My 3 Wives & 11 Children”
70-Year-Old Alhaji Muntari Nasiru has confessed at Kano state Police Command that he took to armed robbery to sustain his three wives and 11 children.
Muntari also told Journalists at the Bompai Police headquarters that he just got married to his last wife aged 13, adding that he engaged in armed robbery to cater for their needs.
According to him, “I have been in this business for three years. I use it to feed my three wives and their 11 children”
The Command’s image-maker, DSP Magaji Musa Majia who spoke to newsmen on behalf of his boss, Muhammad Musa Katsina said on February 22, 2016, a victim of armed robbery reported to the police that a gang of four armed men robbed him of possession.
“Our Ambush Squad immediately went into action and arrested one Nura Aliyu and Alhaji Muntari Nasiru aged 70, who actively participated in the operation.“They confessed to the crime and mentioned the other members of the syndicate and the Command have spread its dragnet; and I assure you that they will soon be arrested.”

I grew up blvn dat old age is a stage dat come wt much respect n prestige. Dat it place one on a high pinnacle of wisdom under whc younger minds come 2 learn some facts n truth abt lyf hence, older ppl ar accorded gr8 importance n air of authority.
