American minister Bishop Noel Jones, the Senior Pastor of City of Refuge Church in Gardena, California has said that he is in Nigeria to deliver the word of God in a very special way.
Jones stated this while speaking with newsmen at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on his arrival, to take part in a five-day Leadership and Business Programme tagged ‘Effective Leadership and Business’ summit organised by God First Ministry popularly known as Illumination Assembly- Lekki Light house, Lagos.
He said he is going to deal with theology, psychological and dichotomy and not physiological preaching, stating that psychological preaching is to enhance the mind of the individuals.
The cleric said that he expected God to move and the anointing to fall heavily and that, ones that happens, anything can happen.
“I have come to Nigeria to deliver the word of God in a very special way. I am going to deal with theology and psychological and dichotomy. That is the way I operate, not physiological preaching. When you talk of psychological preaching, it is preaching to enhance the mind of the individual.”
Speaking further on the leadership programme, he said that leadership is significantly lacking in many aspects today, that leaders are very hard to find on any aspect and that part of the difficulty of leadership is the lack of sensitivity for the people they lead.
“Anytime you are very sensitive to the people you lead, you understand that you are not in the position to be ministered to but you are in a position to minister unto others. The greatest servant that we have ever experienced is Jesus Christ and he said I did not come to be ministered unto I came to minister to others. The strength of one’s anointing and the power of the Holy Spirit is not in how much you can receive but in how much you can give.
“My word for Nigerians is that when they come, they are going to hear the word that is going to be psychologically enhancing, psychologically embellishing and after the meetings they will think differently than before they enter the room,” he added.
Speaking about his host Bishop Isaac Idahosa, he said the man of God is a brilliant man, which is evident in what he does and the people he influences.
“Bishop Isaac Idahosa is a brilliant man, just look at the works, look at his books, look at the countries he goes to and look at the people he influences. He is a great man,” he said.
