The only physiotherapist working at the Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, UPTH is still missing few days after she was kidnapped by some armed gunmen as she was about entering her house few days ago.

The family of the mother of two is yet to hear anything from her kidnappers.

Ogbonna Obi, the spokesperson for Nigerian Union of Allied Health Workers, UPTH branch described the missing woman as a very professional doctor dedicated to her job

“She is only a physiotherapist rendering service to humanity. She is not into politics but only discharging a her professional duties to the society. She was abducted close to her house on her way from work. For the sake of the infants here and her children, they should please release her,” Obi appealed.

Uju Onata‘s whereabouts is still unknown.
