Daddy Freeze Shares Bible Verses, Says Smoking Cigarette & Tobacco Addiction Not A Sin
Controversial OAP who takes pleasure in twisting the scripture to please himself and confuse others has spoken in support of a young man who lit a cigarette shortly after church service in Lekki Lagos yesterday.
Nigerians soon came after the unidentified church goer who held the bible while smoking his lung out shortly after church service but as expected DJ Freeze has defended him.
He released a set of twisted bible verses to support his stand that smoking is not sinful in the bible.
Instead of explaining further, he abandoned the main topic and continued blasting churches collecting tithe.
Can someone please point out any biblical verse that supports smoking in DJ Freeze post???
Here is one man who takes pleasure in confusing others, that is what he is known for.
His followers have to be careful because he is a man on a mission.
To set the record straight, the bible never supports smoking or any other addiction for that matter.
But here are some things to take to heart if you are trying to break free from smoking addiction.
Roman 6:16b – “You are slaves of the one you obey.”
Can you really obey God if you are enslaved by tobacco addiction?
“You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.”—Matthew 22:37
Are you showing love and respect for God if you abuse your God-given body by indulging in a defiling habit?
“You must love your neighbor as yourself.”—Matthew 22:39
Do you really love your neighbor and family if you expose them to the dangers of secondhand smoke?.
May God give you wisdom.

Whoever wrote this article maybe a fake pastor or one of their blind followers…..no matter what you people will use to change the topic,stop scamming poor people with your tithe doctrine, teach them the truth and the good news of JESUS….tithe is not compulsory and nobody will die if he/she did not pay tithe. What comes out of your mouth makes you unclean and not what goes inside.

Smoking is not a sin but it can lead you into sin. Taking alcohol is not a sin, but drinking alcohol can lead you into sin. What we eat does not make us unclean but what comes out of our heart.Smoking or drinking alcohol what are the benefits that we draw? They can lead us to delinquency, theft, rape, barbarism.So these things take us away of truth, of God’s love, of salvation, eternal life.

LET HE THAT CORRUPTS THE WORD OF THE LORD BE CALLED ANATEMA MARANATH (because he hath not the love of THE LORD). smoking tobacco is damaging your body if your own volition it falls in the same category as drawing tattoos which GOD despises. IT IS WRITTEN BRING ALL YOUR TITHES AND OFFERINGS TO MY STOREHOUSE. if you disobey this command GOD himself said HE would let the devourer lose upon you. IT IS THE LORD THAT MAKETH RICH, pay tithe I WILL BLESS YOU, dont pay you’ll never become rich. MALACHI.

Also know that je that is faithful in little (a poor man paying tithe) is faithful in much (GOD makes him rich/makes him an owner of muchbecause of that faithfulness)

Smoking tobacco is not a sin as daddy freeze has indicated even drinking alcohol is not a sin but abusing them can lead to a sin. According to some medical experts taking few glass of alcohol everyday improves our cardiovascular health. Also,there is a substance in Marijuana (Indian Hemp) that improves cognitive function. In the United States, some states are now easy on medical marijuana law to accommodate some patients who need Marijuana (Igbo) of health benefits. When people start to abuse them that is when they experience the negative side aspect of them.
Drinking too much water, eating too much of certain foods can cause health hazard in our body. The lesson is, we should be moderate in what we are ingesting. Daddy freeze is still on track on this. You can go out and smoke your cigarette and come back to read your Bible, that has not put you in a sinner bracket but if you are a Pastor and fails to help the needy, then you are even worst than the smokers. That is what Daddy freeze was trying to point out. There is a certain guy that I know, he loves to smoke weed (Igbo) but one thing about this guy is, he has a good heart and always help the less privilege. He can give you his last penny if he knows you are in financial problem. Do you think he may not makes it to heaven just because he is a weed smoker? We need to make some findings before we comment on crucial matters like this. Some people are just addicted to some certain habits and that has not qualifies them as sinners.
Now, lets go back to the scripture, in the New Testament, Jesus turned water into Wine at a function. He did not do that to throw it away. He shared it among the guests. That means Wine has some nutritional benefits. At the same time Wine also contains Alcohol but not a lot as in Beer or other hard drinks. According to the Muslims in the early days of prophet Muhammed, alcohol drink was accepted until when people started abusing it and Prophet Muhammed put a restriction on it. If you are drunk you cannot lead a prayer. I think that is acceptable and reasonable at least preserve religion Doctrine. Therefore alcohol has nothing to do with our kindness and how we love our neighbors. If you call yourself a man of God and the poor people cannot benefit from your wealth, that is against the principle and Christian doctrine.
