The mortuary photo of late Festus Iyayi, the former ASUU President has surfaced as an evidence against the Police who allegedly shot him on the chest few weeks ago on his way to an “end asuu strike” meeting.

Moments after his death, police said he was killed in a tragic accident but contrary to police reports, medical sources said he was shot to death.

  1. Thanks for providing this
Oh MY God, I can’t stop crying this is cold-blooded murder
Nigerian POlice God will judge you

    • Chizzy it seems u are doing something against the law that’s why u don’t like the police. Can u hear urself talking…is it possible that the same police officers that got involved in thesame accident would have used their guns to kill Mr Festus… Haba..let’s be truthful for once.. Police did not shot that. Victim. Cos same policemen involved in the accident were equally rushed to the hospital in pains….

  2. At least police has been exposed
But did he do anything contrary I don’t see a reason why they should murder him just like that

    • Jesse u people are criminals o..police exposed over what? Those people in the vehicle with the late Mr festus must have shot him immediately the car crash occurred. Pls u people should question the occupants of the vehicle very well. One of them must have killed Mr festus if u people are saying it was assassination ..and leave Nigeria police Force out of this.

  3. A good human right activist must take up this case
justice must prevail in this case
Why this extra judicial killing it’s becoming too much

  4. No wonder Prof Soyinka called for an autopsy
Yes he was murdered by only God knows who
They need to get detectives to investigate this

  5. I believe this is a murder case that must be investigated
Nigerian Police officials are brutal killers and murderers

  6. KikeLomo …u shuld be a trained sniper killer to kwn a sniper related shot.. I think he fell down on a sharp stick…lols…lwkmd..or iron

  7. I am a private detective for over ten years. Mr Festus was not murdered. As soon as the accident occurred and the vehicle stumbled, there is every possibility that spikes or shrubs must have broken the glass of where Mr festus was sitting down and same spikes or shrubs pierced through the chest of the victim. That man that was interviewed never wanted to say the truth,he did not hear any gunshot. When he was asked the question he became diplomatic in his answer.. Read the interview again and see what am saying. Please leave the police out of this context.

    • Sultan or what do you call yourself, do you think this is the time to defend Nigeria police seeing they have done worse and terrible murder than this. Will your plea fell on good ears of Nigerians or you don’t know that Nigeria police do not have integrity again? I hear you o, make you dey continue to fumble and ramble.

  8. THE HOLE SHOWING IS TOO BIG FOR A BULLET WOUND. WHEN THERE IS OVER-TURNINGS AND SUMMER-SAULTS IN A VEHICLE INVOLVED IN A GHASTLY ACCIDENT, YOU GOT SHAPE OBJECT PIERCING THROUGH. MIND YOU THIS WAS UNDERNEATH HIS BREAST PLATE, WHICH OBVIOUSLY MUST HAVE GONE THROUGH HIS HEART OR LUNGS. NIGERIA BEING A PLACE WHERE THERE ISN’T ANY RESQUE OR AIR AMBULANCE, HE MIGHT HAVE STILL BEING ALIVE, IF APPROPRIATE MEDICAL CARE WAS ADMINISTERED AT THE SCENE OF ACCIDENT

  9. When you have a direct hit like in the pic,a pencil or broken grass or even a piece of stick by the road side can lead to death or such tear, let them conduct an autopsy to clear everything. All the same he was killed and is in the morgue instead of his home. The Nigeria police contributed to this,Am from Nigeria and i have seen the way they drive as if they are king of the road and others are slaves that need permission to sit in a car,RIP.

  10. I suspect some foul play here;it seems Gov of kogi state is trying to divert ppl from holding him nd his boyz responsible over the death of prof;bcos the accident can not be a plan.If he was shot, then it must be when he was been carried to d mortuary or in the mortuary. So investigations must b carried out properly, bcos dis ppl they can fool everyone..Why would d police killed me,Why would those that re with him killed him;his not in politics nd is not even ASSU present president,so this re things ppl handling to chard ve to consider! They want d matter to die nd that is why they re accusing police.God bless Nigeria!

  11. i hv said it many times b4, police are d biggest mafias in d world, most of d killing r done by police all over d world, once u r d target 4get it, it comes in any form, it suppose 2 b accidental dead but he was still alife after d accident, so dey d police had no other options dan 2 shoot him, we all cant b fooled, n as 4 u Sultan can’t u c dat dis is a calculative attempt, or r u working 4 d police, wat will make d police car leaves its lane n headed straight towards d opposite car, we know how it works.
