January 2nd, 2014 – Child Of Bayelsa State’s Commissioner Kidnapped In Yenagoa, Chief Godknows Powell Mourns
The family of Chief Godknows Powell, and ex-Commissioner in Bayelsa State is mourning the mysterious kidnap of their 6-year-old son.
The innocent little boy was abducted beside his mother in the wee hours of Wednesday the 1st of January, 2014 by some masked gunmen while they were coming from a church service. The abduction happened around 12:45pm
A relation of the family confirmed the incident and said the abduction of the boy had thrown the family into despair.
“We are supposed to be celebrating the New Year, but we are now in a pathetic mood. We pray that the boy is safe,” the source said.
The kidnappers are yet to establish contact with the family.
Chief Powell was a one-time Chairman of Yenagoa Local Government Area before he was appointed Commissioner for Local Government and Community Development during the administration of former Gov. Timipre Sylva.

Niger Delta is head quters and home of kidnappers b4 other tribes follow them,bad name they give this force nation call nigeria,anyway if nigeria break up,they will join ibos brother of east or they get their own country niger-delta, where no body will cross,cos of kidnapping,rape and drink oil and gogoro.since they dont go to school again only waiting for oil money and kidnapping money,backward like the people of far norther western education is sin.
