On Tuesday night in Lagos, Nigerian singer David Adeleke aka Davido got more than what he bargained for after his car was chased by excited fans at the University of Lagos minutes after an exciting concert he staged.

We learnt a troop of excited UNILAG students in a bid to meet the singer in person chased his car on foot.

According to eyewitnesses, Davido’s fans held him captive for minutes.

The talented HKN artist who just released a hit single Gobe didn’t find his ordeal offensive. He took the whole thing in good faith citing he still loves his fans.

After his highly needed escape from the hands of his fierce fans, Davido tweeted:

“Damn they broke my car window at Unilag!! Still luv ma fans tho!! Bless yall!! Amazing show!”
