The truth is Fecal matter and urine can fly as far as 6 feet away from the toilet bowl during every flush. Ensure the lid is closed before flushing.
Prolonged stay on toilet bowl:
Using the toilet to read books, magazines or to access your social media account is bad for you. This can result in hemorrhoids since the seated position places too much pressure on the veins in your lower rectum, which can swell or bulge.
Not washing your hands long enough
The washing has to be long enough to kill germs,When you finish using the toilet make sure you clean your hand well clean.

GOOD ONE HERE! IT SHOCKS me to bits that many people do not even wash their hands after using the toilet. The others that do only wash with water, whereas soap is thing not to be missing. The generality of Nigerians are far too low with regards to toilet hygiene. The mere touch of the toilet door knob is enough to make a conscious person use the soap, not to speak of when you flush the toilet after peeing.

Yes that is the reality of the matter, cleaning of hands is not that common in Nigeria and other countries.
Most even use the social media in the toilet

I ALWAYS SAY TO PEOPLE THAT, IT WAS WRONG AND STUPID KEEPING YOUR TOOTHBRUSH IN THE TOILET.
THOSE WHO CALLED THEMSELVES FIRST WORLD AND CIVILISED ARE SO STUPID AND IGNORAMUS, BECAUSE MANY OF THEM KEEP THEIR TOOTHBRUSH IN THE TOILET.
HOW CAN YOU PLACE WHAT YOU USED TO BRUSH YOUR MOUTH IN THE TOILET?
IT IS LIKE, PLACING YOUR BREAKFAST IN THE TOILET AND COOK IN THE TOILET.
I HAVE A CABINET IN THE BEDROOM AND KEEP MY TOOTHBRUSH THERE,
BECAUSE EXPOSING YOUR TOOTHBRUSH CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS AND CAN LEAD TO DEATH. BECAUSE SOMEONE CAN PLACE ANYTHING ON IT, WITHOUT YOU KNOWING.
IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE AT ALL , KEEPING WHAT YOU USE TO BRUSH YOUR MOUTH IN THE TOILET.
I WAS SUPRISED SEEING THE WESTERNERS, THE WHOLE OF EUROPE KEEPING THEIR ,, TOOTHBRUSHES ,, IN THE TOILET. IT WAS WRONG AND STUPID .
