Nigerian movie stars Desmond Elliot and Tonto Dikeh have thrown their weight behind an initiative against the menace of rape and rapists in the society.
Speaking to public school students of Lagos State at the flag-off of sensitisation workshop tagged College Acquaintance Rape Education (CARE) at Adeyemi Bero Memorial Hall, Alausa, Ikeja, the stars admonished students and youths to speak out on any issue of rape.
Tonto added that her foundation is also aimed at educating the society about all forms of domestic violence with focus on rape and to help reduce the stigma associated with victims of sexual abuse.
CARE is an initiative of Project Capable led by Esther Ijewere Kalejaiye.
