Popular Nollywood celebrities Emeka Okoye, Eric Obinna, Eva Appiah, Yemi Blaq, Gloria Young, Seun Akindele and others have joined the cast of an upcoming movie titled, Dr Mekam.

The movie produced by Obylicious Empire and directed by Ike Nnaebue is set to take over the cinema next month.

The director, Nnaebue told reporters the movie will raise the standard in the nation’s motion picture industry.

Synopsis

“In this hilarious dramatic comedy, highly successful Diaspora based Nigerian medical Doctor decides to return home and run for the office of the Governor of Anambra state as “a humble stepping stone to becoming the President of Nigeria” but navigating through the dark, murky and very diabolical waters of the Nigerian politics proves quite an uphill task for Dr Mekam.

Dr Mekam premieres in cinemas nationwide from Friday the 16th of March 2018.
