March 31, 2016 – Ekiti State University EKSU Students, Black Axe Cultists Arrested Inside Hotel In Iworoko Ekiti Jailed For Cultism In Ado Ekiti
2 students of Ekiti State University arrested on the 13th of July 2013 inside a hotel in Iworoko Ekiti have been sentenced to 3 years imprisonment for their involvement in cultism.
The convicts Oladapo Olaoluwa and Akintunde Olumide confessed to a police prosecutor, Femi Falade that they belonged to the Black Axe cult group during investigation.
In her ruling, Justice Mosun Abodunde of the Ekiti State High Court said:
“The axe found with you on the day of your arrest is not a tool for education; it is a weapon of danger and incriminating, which should not be seen within the school premises.”
The two convicts were found guilty and charged without an option of fine.
