Ex-Nigerian Governor Jailed 5 Years For N168Million Contract Scam: Ex-Adamawa Governor Bala James Ngilari Imprisoned
A Federal High Court in Adamawa state today jailed ex-Governor of Adamawa, Ngilari Bala James for 5 years with no option of fine.
Ngila was convicted by Justice Nathan Musa for allegedly violating procurement laws.
Ngilari was accused of awarding fake contract of N167million to a car dealer, El Yad Motors Limited to supply him 25 Toyota Corollas.

5years too small for what he stole,this is just a slap on his hand, he should have been handed minimum of 20years or life in jail to teach others a big lesson

Any executive found guilty of committing such crime must be sentence to death by hanging,that’s the only way to show they are serious.
What is 5yrs on 168million Naira?, the man is still on gain if they did not ask him to refund that. At the end he will be spending only 2 1/2yrs and no hard labor attached.
