On Wed, the 21th of Nov. 2012 around 6:30pm in the evening, a mystery fire that gutted the office of PMnews and TheNews magazine destroyed the whole building. naijagists.com
The fire that hit PM news 2-storey building located on Acme Road in Ogba Industrial estate, Lagos destroyed all the equipments and other property located in the affected floor.
According to an employee, the fire was caused by a power surge with no injury reported.
Here is what the employee said:
“The fire was very ferocious. I think the fire was caused by power surge. When the power supply was restored, the voltage was high and some employees did not switch off their systems.”
