Cambridge Analytica, a controversial marketing firm behind Facebook recent mess has been exposed for hacking into Buhari’s medical records.
According to the former employee of the company accused of pulling the personal information of over 50 million Facebook users to sway elections in many countries including Nigeria, Christopher Wylie, a supporter of former President Goodluck Jonathan paid £2million to Cambridge Analytica to hack into Buhari’s medical record.
An inquiry panel has been set up to further investigate the role Cambridge Analytica played in Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election bid and how the company managed to access Buhari’s private medical record.
Cambridge Analytica and Facebook are currently being investigated by the British Information Commissioner’s Office for improper data mining.
