Life is a journey. It comes with the good, the ugly and the bad. It comes with joy and sorrow. It brings moment of comfort and moment of discomfort.
The news of the conviction of one of the Nigerian best in the entertainment industry and best President ever recorded in the leadership of the Nigerian Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has come with mixed feelings. At a glance, it has come to show that in normal society, the law is no respecter of persons. At a second look, it shows the cross that a public figure has to carry as a good example to the society.
The former beauty Queen in Nigeria and one of the most celebrated Actor would not have wished to cause human death. But as it were, the accident that happened 10 years ago, which took the life of the deceased was never premeditated. It was unfortunate it happened. May the soul of the deceased continue to rest in the Lord. Today, our darling of the Nollywood is convicted of manslaughter and to serve a 5 year jail term. It is a lesson in many ways. She offered herself for judgment and opted not to leave the country to find safety in another country which some other people would have easily done.
I join millions of fans, colleagues and friends of my Colleague, Mentor and friend to share my sympathy for what happened and to urge her continue to believe in her God and be assured of God’s protection. Let her see this moment as part of her debt to humanity, justice and service. God will surely see her true.

One thing that makes me feel sad for this story is that Ibinabo may never be herself again after serving this sentence. If she would overcome the heavy stigma and blend in again with the society she once belonged to after this 5 years, then she is the strongest woman ever.

It is well, i pray for the mercy of God upon your life in that prison. Let the people affected have a heart of forgiveness as this will not bring back their loved son although, it is not easy, but just let go and leave the rest judgement into the hands of God, it is also my prayer that God should comfort this great family for the lost of their bread winner.
