Ibinabo Fiberesima Released From Kirikiri Prison, Bail Application Approved
April 7, 2016 – Ibinabo Fiberesima Freed From Jail, Bail Application Approved
Just like she did several years ago after she allegedly killed doctor Suraj Giwa in a drunk driving stunt, Nollywood actress Ibinabo Fiberesima has lobbied her way out of prison.
In 2006, the actress spent 93 days in kirikiri for fleeing the scene of an accident that kill Dr Giwa. She was later released on bail as the case took another 10 years to get to court.
As we speak, the embattled actress has been granted N2million bail with two sureties in like amount.
Few weeks ago, Ibinabo was slammed with a 5-year-jail term by the Court of Appeal in Lagos.
For now, the highly influential and powerful madam is walking free, courtesy of her influential friends.
A commoner will never get bail for murder conviction in Nigeria, it is only the ‘HIGH & MIGHTY’ that can get their way out of every situation.
Nigeria, a country where injustice reigns supreme.
Short of words… May Doctor Giwa’s soul rest in peace.

Nigeria we hail thee. I never aware that people can bail themselves out of state prison after final sentencing. Folks, is it possible to post bond after judgement pronouncement? walking out of prison by posting 2 million naira bond has taken another dimension. That implies that the life of the deceased Dr. Suraj only worth 2 million naira. The only way that lady (Ibinabo)can get out of prison is by presidential pardon as it happens in all democratic Countries. I don’t have any problem if she is out of the prison but it has to be done in legal way. Buhari is the only person that can release her by telling all Nigerians why he decided to do that. If the release did not come from Oga on top, that means we are in a big mess in this Country and this may be an easy route for the harden criminals who may see this as a way to buy their freedom.

uuuh Nigeria. when will the poor ever get justice? just coz u r a so called celebrity doesnot mean you should toy around with peoples lives uh. something should be done to punish such people who claim to be “celebs and loaded” yet they r making the innocent suffer forgetting the fact that they (poor) are the ones who made them what they r.God help Nigeria and i pray that justice prevail.

this is a big shame to the stupid laws in nigeria,so when someone is convicted and found guilty of a crime, they look for excuses to say they are sick, may the breast cancer kill you bastard. Its only the president that can reverse a sentence,or immediate pardon on a convict.abeg af told ppl,is not by going to school,or making mouth at beer parlor, club, filling station, party, its by connection
when you were travelling abroad, flying with your family, you never knew you had it abi
the same format the former bitch of petroleum used, saying she had cancer,no p sha
so you mean you bribed d family of the late dr suraj giwa,no worry give her about 3weeks,na so we go dey see diff pics as usual with her family, dem go fly go dubai go flex.
since na breast cancer,so as the mouth sayeth,so shall it be,
breast cancer for life
its a shame you killed someone’s hero, someone’s hope with a bond of 2million
we are doomed in this country, judicial system is useless
bet a poor man did this,he would rot in jail for like 30years before dem even remember am
i no wan dey read naija news again, abeg make jesus come quick, cos na end time be this…

What more can one say? They have shown us with money and power you can have it all in this country. Its just too bad. An ordinary person will roit away in prison. In all we do, let’s remember God has the final say.

Ibinabo try and keep a low profile for all eyes are on you, Vanity upon vanity . You were too loud while the Giwa’s were mourning their son, you were partying up and down too , this could have triggered their anger. Please give your life to God and look after your children quietly . Don’t forget to pray for Dr Giwa’s soul to rest in peace. Please my beloved Giwa’s Family , forgive Ibinabo even if you jail her for life it will not bring back the dead . We will all die one day, so let us pray for his soul to rest in perfect peace Amen.

If their intention was disrupting justice, theu could have at least released her on parol and placed her on community service. That would have been milder to the ears than hearing that she had been outrightly granted bail. Nigeria nawa o.
