November 30, 2016 – Popular Ijaw Musician Barrister Smooth’s Driver Shot Dead By Armed Robbers In Warri Delta State, N5Million Stolen
A young man who is said to be the official driver of popular Ijaw musician Barrister Smooth was yesterday killed by some dare devil robbers at the Government Reserved Area of Warri.
Chidobe Nkem who withdrew N5million on behalf of his boss from a bank in Effurun around 8:34am yesterday was trailed and intercepted by a 4-man robbery gang in a brown Toyota Corolla car.
They reportedly shot him at close range and escaped with the money.
The corpse of the deceased driver has been taken to Warri Central Hospital mortuary.
