‘You have no right to attack a pastor on church issue”- Apostle Suleman replies Daddy Freeze, speaks on tithing controversy
Omega Fire Ministries founder Suleman, has lent his voice to the burning issue on tithing stoked by popular OAP Daddy Freeze.
Here is how he reacted during a recent church service;
“Let it be clear that if anyone is not a pastor, he has no right to attack a pastor on church issue. He should leave everything to God. I only laugh. Somebody who is not a doctor cannot teach a certified doctor how to go about doing his job; he will just be laughed at. Someone who is not a journalist can’t teach a true journalist how he should do his work; they will just be laughing at him.
I wouldn’t have spoken on the issue but you don’t argue with a man whose mind is already made up on any issue. It is futile. And I’m not going to confuse anybody to pay tithe, no. if you attend my church and you decide not to pay tithe, it’s left to you. In my church they don’t pay me allowance. I live on my personal businesses and I write books.
So far, I have written 52 books that are inspirational and I’m still writing. If you write books that are inspirational, believers and non-believers will buy. It is not as if it is only church members that buy pastors’ books. That alone is enough to sustain any pastor. So, you don’t just jump to criticize any pastor for buying private jets of expensive cars because you think it is tithe that they use to buy them.
If you asked me, there is nothing wrong with tithing.
But tithes should be used by pastors to maintain Christianity, assist the poor in the church, the vulnerable and the stranded. Not that everything should go into the pastor’s pocket, that’s wrong. Every pastor should be on allowance.
That young man does not deserve a response; in fact, I’m not talking because of him but because my Papa, Pastor Adeboye had spoken, I’m speaking on the issue. Now, if it requires that we go into a debate, let’s have it. Yes, your tithe is not a license to make heaven but it is an acknowledgment of God’s mercy in your life.
But because Papa Adeboye corrected the wrong notion and the young man dared to respond to him, I felt it was insulting. This is not about sentiment or emotion, it is about commonsense. You don’t respond to an elder in certain manner, especially a man of Pastor Adeboye’s standing.
There are things people shouldn’t just dabble into especially when it is not their field. Even if you mobilize the whole world against tithing, you will only end up being counterproductive because this is not your field.
Men of God do not need to react to such issues because like I said earlier, once somebody has made up his mind on a position, nobody should argue with such a man.
My reaction to such a man is, if that is your position, keep it, continue with what you believe but don’t confuse people to believe what you believe.”

I bet to differ a little bit on what has been written, I am glad you said, tithe doesn’t take people to heaven, rather it is used to support or assist the poor in the church, the vulnerable and the stranded, yet there are a lot of poor people who give their tithes and remain poor, they cannot afford the schools that the churches have built. I think it will be good as you said, to assist the poor so that their children can also attend your own church school. It will also be good for the church to use the tithe money to fund a health program for those who are very vulnerable and poor.
Like you said, we should leave it for God to judge, I think we have to let this issue rest. I know some people who have died because they could not afford health expenses and the church could not even help.

What is this Mormon talking about. Freedom of speech. Daddy freeze has a right to day what he wants. I think Suleiman is very guilty. I can challenge anyone in any field. You are not God. And you word is not gospel. Hence why doctors give you the opportunity for a second opinion. Jerk artist.

God will judge all of them one day, they are worshiping their stomach and stealing in the name of God. Who among the pastors will say just as apostle Paul said that HE DID NOT TELL ANYBODY TO CONTRIBUTE ANY THING FOR HIM, HE DID NOT RECIEVE ANY CONTRIBUTION OR ORDERED ANY BODY TO PAY ANYTHING, HE SAID HE EAT FROM THE TENT HE MAKES..today’s pastors are opposite of what apostle Paul is, today’s pastor are politicians, a man of God involving him or herself in an earthly kingdom whom Jesus rejected, they forget that this earthly kingdom is representative of Satan which is describe in the book of Revelation as Beast with seven heads and ten horns.

That is the reason why his source money is questionable. The profit from his book sales alone could not be that much to that extent of dolling out Millions of Naira, Thousands of Dollars into Prostitute Bank account. He could have done better if he had spent such money more on needy. This guy source of money is from devil. Devil gave him some money to use it against innocent souls. Also for him associating himself to Pastor Adeboye means they have something in common. Only God knows who truly serves him.

How can a congregations offering build a school whose fees is too exorbitant for the very children of the congregation whose offerings paid for it? How can a shepherd fly in a multi-million dollar plane and live the lifestyle of the extremely rich and famous while the sheep under his care can’t feed themselves and their children? I attended fellowship sometime ago,
The guy who led the fellowship was preaching about tithe.
He said, “IF YOU DON’T PAY TITHE YOU WILL GO TO HELL”
I was wondering where he got the authority to declare such punishment.
And this year again, a well respected and popular pastor said, “IF YOU DON’T PAY TITHE YOU’RE PLACING GOD’S CURSE ON YOUR HEAD ” (without any biblical reference.)
Why some Pastors so much interested in tithes and offerings?
Why are their prayer points so tricked?
Why are they scaring people with the word of God?
Why are they preaching only to fit their personal interest?
MALACHI: 3:8-10
“Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed me, but you say, in what way have we robbed you? IN TITHE AND OFFERINGS.
You’re cursed with a curse, for you have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house….

The person robbing God here is the Priest (PASTOR), he rob God when he fail to bring all the “tithes collected” into the storehouse, and a curse is placed upon him.
DEUTERONOMY : 14:28
at the end of every third year you shall bring out the tithe of your produce of that year and store it up within your gates.
And the levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and stranger, and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates may come and eat and be satisfied, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

Tithes were never for the Priest (Pastor).
It was mainly for the levites and the less privileged ones.
(Fatherless, Widows, Strangers etc)
WHO ARE THE LEVITES?
levites are the descendants of the tribe of Levi, one of the twelve tribes.
WHAT ARE THEIR DUTIES?
1chronicles : 23:28
The duty of the levites was to help Aaron’s descendants in the service of the temple of the Lord.
They were in charge of the courtyard, the side rooms, the purification of all sacred things and the performance of other duties at the house of God.
WHAT ELSE TO DO WITH TITHES?
Deuteronomy 14:24-26
But if the journey is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry the tithe, or if the place where the lord your God chooses to put his name is too far from you, when the Lord your God has blessed you,
Then you shall exchange it for money, take the money in your hand and go to the place which the Lord your God chooses.
And you shall spend that money for whatever your heart desires, you shall eat there before the Lord your God and you shall rejoice, you and your household.
Be Wise.
God will never curse his children.
Remember we’re in the New Testament.
Say NO TO SELF PROFITING DOCTRINES.
Not all Pastors are Pastors!

Many Pastors only preach on POWER and PROSPERITY just to keep the crowd, they deliberately neglect those real teachings that bring Godly sorrow which leads to repentance.
All that matter to them is gathering of wealth.
