December 27, 2013 – Kidnappers Killed Nigerian Nurse After N1.5M Ransom Payment In Sapele, Benin City, Edo State

A woman named Bridget Osawaru has died in the hand of her kidnappers in Edo State.

The 43-year-old nurse who was abducted at her house off Sapele Road in Benin city on Tuesday December 10, 2013 has been found dead.

The kidnappers contacted her family and a ransom of 1.5 million naira was paid to secure her release 3 days after her abduction.

Bridget’s family hope was shattered when the kidnappers ordered them to pick her up at Okhuahie hill along Benin-Asaba expressway.

On getting there, they saw the dead body of Bridget with severe stab wounds.

Her case has been transferred to the homicide section at the State Police headquarters.

Kidnapping in Edo state carries the maximum death penalty.

Living in Nigeria is very hazardous nowadays as exemplified in the abduction and eventual murdering of this innocent soul!

May her soul rest in peace.

Bridget used to stay in London. She moved back home last year and see how they killed. I believe she would still be alive today if she still back in the UK.
Nigeria has turned into a den of kidnappers.
People travelling back home from abroad should be careful

What is this country turning into? Even after that huge ransom for her rescue they still went ahead to eliminate the innocent’s woman’s life. God please watch over your people!!
