The Nigerian Customs has confirmed the ongoing rumour of a Killer Chinese rice currently circulating around the country.
In an interview with NAN today in Lagos, Comptroller of the Federal Operations Unit in Ikeja Lagos, Mohammed Haruna said the toxic rice was stored for distribution as free Christmas gifts to the public.
Haruna said his officers intercepted the rice in Ikeja on Monday adding that a suspect has been arrested.

The rice has been handed over to NAFDAC for investigation.
