Klint Da Drunk: I’m A Good Actor Like Patience Ozokwor Who Is Very Good At Playing Wicked Woman’s Role

Comedian Klint Igwemba aka Klint Da Drunk has revealed the secret behind his hatred for alcohol.

He told Saturday Beats that there is a very serious repercussion if he take alcohol no matter how little it is.

“I do not take alcohol. It is bad for my health and it is a medical condition. If I take half a glass of any kind of alcohol, I would have a splitting headache for three days except I take very strong pain relievers which I avoid using because they could become addictive or destroy someone’s liver or kidney. I am able to portray the drunk character so perfectly because I am good at acting. It is the same way Segun Arinze could kill so perfectly in the movie ‘Black Arrow’, it is the same way Patience Ozokwor can be so good at playing a wicked woman’s part in a movie that people actually think she is wicked in reality,” he said.

The comedian  acknowledged that he had been away from the entertainment scene for a while and gave reasons for the intentional hiatus.

“I know a lot of people have been asking why I withdrew from the entertainment scene for a while and the answer is simple. If you are always on people’s faces all the time, a time would come when you would lose your value. In entertainment, we call it ‘see finish’. So when you do some reasonable gigs, you withdraw again. When you come out again, the kind of comments you would hear is, ‘so he is still alive?’ When you are done with your performance, those same people would say, ‘Wow! This guy is good’. It is at that moment that they would realise that I actually never really left; I only went back to the drawing board. That is the idea,” he said.
