While we are still recovering from the sudden death of soul singer James Ingram, the Hollywood industry has lost yet another icon.

The Young and The Restless star actor Kristoff St John has died.

He passed away in his mansion in  San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles yesterday Sunday the 3rd of February 2019 at the age of of 52.

According to TMZ, his friends called 911 yesterday after finding his lifeless body during a welfare check.

Sadly when paramedics reached his home, they tried everything possible to revive him but all their efforts failed.

He was pronounced death at the scene.

Although the official cause of Kristoff St John’s death is yet to be revealed by the Coroner, TMZ source said alcohol might have killed him.

The award winning actor who threatened suicide back in 2017 during the first anniversary of his son’s suicide was placed on suicide watch for 72 hours.

The source said Mr St John could not cope with the death of his first son, Julian.

He has on several occasion threatened to shoot himself dead.

The LA Coroner officer said his body is ready to be picked up by his family.
