Mr Abubakar Sheriff Tijani, a 25-year-old currency smuggler who was caught with $7 million (N1.1 Billion) at MMIA (Lagos International Airport) last week by EFCC officials has been docked. naijagists.com
EFCC took Tijani to a Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos today for hearing.
He was caught last week with the aforementioned sum enroute to Dubai
After a series of interrogation, he confessed 20 people hired him to courier the money for them to Dubai.
As at the time of this report, he is about to be arraigned on 1 count charge.
