A young man has been sentenced to 6 months imprisonment by an Egor Chief Magistrates court for stealing a Nokia X2 phone.

The suspect who pleaded guilty was sentenced without an option of fine.

The accused, 20-year-old Lucky Ogbebor committed the offence on the 14th of February at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).‎

The phone valued at N15,000 is the property of one Imonah Samuel who came to the hospital for treatment.
