Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe who is now roaming about town like a free bird after escaping from the “den” of her hubby, Lanre Gentry has come under fire for attending an event that was not meant for her.
The fashionista earlier today shared the above photo of herself with Women’s Rights activist, Dr Odumakin as they make their way to Benin city in Edo state for Africa Widows Summit.
However, a fan attacked the Edo born actress for attending Widows Summit when she is not yet a widow.

A person doesn’t have to be in a situation to support those who are in… period! Does supporting Motherless babies means we are motherless or supporting orphans or handicapped put us on the same pedestal? Support can come in any form, moral to help raise awareness for the plight of others or financial. We must have compassion for the needy and less privileged in society. Don’t be quick to condemn others and show a little more understanding. You or your children may find themselves in a similar situation and others will stand up to assist. Do unto others as you want them to do unto you.
