May 11, 2015 – “My Friends & Loyalists Abandoned Me After Defeat To Buhari” – Jonathan Laments, Tells Ministers To Get Ready For Probe

Jonathan publicly conceded defeat to Buhari on March 31, a decision which was commended by local and foreign commentators and doused tension in the country.

“Some hard decisions have their own costs. No doubt about that. It is a very costly decision but I must be very ready to pay for it,” Jonathan said during a farewell church service in Abuja.

Jonathan’s public admission of defeat in the nail-biting election came more than six hours after he rang Buhari to concede, earning him widespread praise for statesmanship.

“If you take certain decisions, you should know that people close to you will even abandon you at some point. I tell people that more of my so-called friends will disappear.”

Many party faithful and erstwhile loyalists of Jonathan have either crossed over to Buhari’s All Progressives Congress or made harsh statements against Jonathan’s party or its leaders.

Jonathan said he was not surprised by the desertions or statements by his former loyalists, adding that former South African president Frederik de Klerk faced a similar situation when he decided to abolish minority rule in that country.

Jonathan said that de Klerk’s marriage to his wife, Marike, broke down after he took that decision.

“But that is the only decision that made South Africa to still be a global player. If by this time w still have minority rule in South africa, nobody would have been talking about South Africa in the present generation,” he said.

He said that ministers who served under him should brace themselves for “persecution” following his loss and his decision to concede defeat.

Buhari, a former military leader, is scheduled to be sworn into office on May 29.

What did you expect? It wasn’t you they loved. It was your position that was beneficial to them that they loved. They are all fake and pretentious human beings, not real. Hopefully, Buhari would not let himself be surrounded by such people who are only after how they can line their pockets and rake in as much money as they can rather than the general welfare of the people of Nigeria. Peace be unto Nigeria.

That is human beings, the most complex creatures on earth. It would have been the opposite had Gen. Buhari lost also. At least you did the right and honorable thing by conceding and congratulating your adversary. What intrigues me most is Madam or Dame Patience’s sudden numbness. Never in the world had I seen a First Lady so rude and vulgar, brazenly insulting her husband’s opponents (in over 50 years I have been on earth). At least, now she is under leash and forced to eat humble pie. A lesson in humility – never forget your humble beginnings and when atop of a horse, do not mistreat those walking on the ground, in case you fall off the horse, those on the ground will lift you up. Good luck and Goodbye President Jonathan.

President Jonathan shouldn’t expect nothing less than gross disappointment from criminals and looters that surround him in his almost six years in office. When a leader of the people suddenly forsakes millions of suffering Nigerian people who voted him to office in 2011 to satisfied the looting, greedy, and unpatriotic desires of few criminal and unfaithful friends, he will have no peace but guilt even after stolen billions of naira for his personal use. President Jonathan didn’t honor nor fulfill any of many promises he made to millions of Nigerian people before the 2011 presidential election. In fact, we were all disappointed when he wickedly raised the prices of kerosene and petrol at the pumps by about 75% few months after he was reelected. More disappointment await this wicked president after General Buhari sworn in date if he did not repent of his wickedness towards the poor Nigerians. As a result of that ungodly increase, the prices of food products have sky rocked, increase in transportation fees, and struggling Nigerian have seen more hardships and setbacks under President Badluck Jonathan watch. The president should pray for forgiveness so that God of Israel will not completely disappoint him the way he had disappointed millions of suffering Nigerian people who voted him to power more than four years ago. He remains the worse, most incompetent, and dumbest president in Nigerian history. Election bribery, money laundering operations, mass murder of innocent Nigerian mothers, children, and fathers by Boko Haram, looting of national treasure, lack of vision and political lawlessness, mismanagement, inflation, insecurity, youth unemployment, and incompetent of the highest level are all the attributes of this failed president in the past six years. Nigerian people should thank God that he and his barbaric wife are voted out of power and Aso Rock villa.
