A 20-yr Old Nigerian woman who works at a Victoria Secret store in London has suffered massive facial burns after she was attacked with acid by a masked attacker on the 30th of December of last year. naijagists.com
According to Huffington Post, Naomi Oni was heading home after midnight of that fateful day when that attacker pour acid on her face in Dagenham.
She called police on getting home before an ambulance was dispatched to take her to the hospital.
Oni has spent the last month receiving skin grafts and nearly went blind after the attack, which left her with serious burns on her head, neck, arms, legs and body.
She has now released the images in a bid to trace her attacker, who fled from the scene.
She told the Evening Standard the attack had “destroyed” her life and left her fearful of showing her face in public.
She said: “I look in the mirror and it just isn’t me. I’ll never look the same again. I’ve always been outgoing and confident in my job and in my personal life, used to getting attention for the way I dress or my hair, but now I don’t want anyone looking at me.”
Oni says she decided to reveal her injuries after being inspired by model Katie Piper, who founded a charity after an acid attack by her boyfriend.
No arrests have been made and officers from Barking and Dagenham CID are continuing to retain an open mind as to the motive of the attack.

It was only a matter of time…..be that evil wretch dedicated 2 a ‘faith’ or using NIQUAB as a mask invoking further un-rest towards the Muslim population, this was a despicable act & the b***h needs to taste her own medicine (no doubt prison will dish up once caught) – NAOMI, you are *Beautiful* & the medical help here in the UK will eventually prepare you for the outside world….time will heal, be patient sweet one.
This s**t happens all over the world & a case in the US (April 2007): a young African American boy suffered simliar attack by an adult muslim (seemingly not liking the US!!, that attacker [wrecked] in a US jail….
Are we the British public reduced to ‘avoiding’ all NIQUAB in dress? is this a sign of ‘things to come’? where do we sit on public transport? the list is endless. Stay calm people, caus’ at the end of the day the police will stand back and look-on in glee should [we] be enraged and react.
