Nigerian celebrities from the movie world to fashion to music all have a loyal fan base who are avid followers and wish to scoop as much information on them as possible. What most fans do not know is that some of these stars have siblings or a twin in the same or a different entertainment industry.
Below are some celebrities siblings and or twins:
Don Jazzy and D’Prince: Most people probably do not know Don Jazzy and D’Prince are siblings. Their real names are Michael Collins and Charles Collins Enebeli respectively.
D’Prince joined Mo’Hits Records in 2005 after his older brother returned from the UK to promote the record label in Nigeria. Both brothers are currently in Mavins Record with Don Jazzy being the CEO. They have a couple of hit singles to their names.

When asked if they intend on getting married soon, they replied that they were more focused on their careers. D’Prince however said he is more likely to marry before his elder brother.
Skuki: They are a Nigerian African hip hop duo comprising two brothers – Tumininu Laolu-Oguniyi and Atewologun Laolu-Oguniyi. Their separate stage names are Vavavoom (Tumininu) and PeeShaun (Atewalogun).
These brothers were born in the 1980s in Oyo state. They always had a flair for music hence, after their university education, they reunited to form a music career under the name “Skuki” in 1999.
They have released a couple of chart-topping hits such as Stamina, B.A.D, Fire etc. They have also received some awards and nominations such as City People Entertainment Awards (Best New Musicians), Dynamic All Youth Awards (Mist Promising Act), The Headies (Next Rated) etc.
The Aneke Twins: If you are familiar with Nollywood movies, then the Aneke twins should be popular faces. Born Chidinma and Chidiebere Aneke, they made their debut in 1999. However, they quit acting to finish their studies and returned in 2003. Popularity hit them officially in 2004 and since then, they have been topping their game.
They have starred in several movies such as Desperate Twins, Revenge of the gods, Jealous Friends, Ujuaku the Tigress etc.
Kizz Daniel and Sophie: Popular Nigerian afro pop singer Anidugbe Oluwatobiloba Daniel formerly Kiss Daniel now Kizz Daniel is a show stopper any day any time. He is a performer, artiste, entertainer and has released a couple of songs that received massive airplay such as Woju and his highly acclaimed song ‘Yeba’. He was formerly signed to G- Worldwide before a fallout which led to the establishment of his own label, Fly Boy Inc.
What most people do not know is that the singer has an elder sister, Sophie who is a popular OAP at Cool FM Kano. Both siblings appear to be focused on their careers and are not usually seen together in public.
Mi Abaga and Jesse Jagz: Probably Nigeria’s best rapper, Jude Abaga better known as Mi Abaga is a household name in the music industry. He has been the CEO of Chocolate City since June 2015. He has also received multiple awards such as ‘The Headies’ award for Next Rated, ‘Artiste of the Year’.
His younger brother Jesse Garba Abaga (Jesse Jagz) was also in Chocolate City before leaving to form his own label -Jagz Nation. His hit songs include, ‘Murder Them’, ‘Redemption’ ‘Sex and Scotch’. Some of the awards he has carted home include: Lyricist on the roll- Hip Hop World Awards (The Headies), Producer of the Year (Hip Hop World Awards), Producer of the Year (The Future Awards 2009 and 2010).
Sandra and Christopher Okagbue: They are siblings and children to late monarch, Obi Ofala Okagbue of Onitsha. They are both models with Orange Drugs Nigeria Limited with Sandra winning the coveted Miss Delta Soap Pageant in 2010. She is also Flavour’s first baby mama.
Her brother on the other hand is the ambassador of Passion Energy Drink. He also won the Gulder Ultimate Search, Season 8. They recently produced a movie titled “Lotanna”in which Chris played a lead role.
Dakore Egbuson and Timini Egbuson: Dakore is a screen goddess that has starred in over 80 movies. She has however been out of the movie scene for quite some time after her marriage and birth of her two daughters.
What is interesting is that her handsome younger brother Timini is also following in his sister’s footsteps. Although he is still upcoming, there is no doubt that he would make an impact.
PSquare and Jude Okoye: We are all very familiar with PSquare (Now Mr. P and Rude Boy or King Rudy). However, most people do not know that their manager Jude is the twin’s elder brother.
In the wake of their career, they were managed by Bayo Odusami CEO of Adrot Nigeria Limited. Their brother started managing then when they had already started breaking grounds. He was managing them until the twins had a fight in which both went their separate ways in 2016.
D’Banj and K’Switch: There is hardly anyone in Nigeria who does not know the kokomaster, D’banj (Daniel Oyebanjo). He has so many songs to his name such as ‘Why Me:, ‘Fall in Love’ ‘Oliver Twist’ , Mr. Endowned’. He was also the lead singer for Mo’Hits Record.
His younger brother, Kehinde Oyebanjo (K Switch) is also in the music industry. After a few singles such as ‘Sister Caro’ ft. D’banj, ‘Obim’ ft D’banj, it appears K’Switch is out of the music scene for good.
Aremu, Kunle and Gabriel Afolayan: These are all brothers. Aremu is a movie director, script writer etc, Kunle the middle brother is an award winning director of famed movies such as The Figurine, October 1st, Phone Swap, The Bridge, Tribunal while the youngest has starred in several movies and drama series. He isalso a singer and goes by the stage name G-Fresh.
All three brothers have carved a niche for themselves as far as the movie industry is concerned.
