Weddings are always a delight and we absolutely love celebrity weddings and the glam and glitterati that come with them. Some people love the quiet, secluded weddings while others have elaborate ones that have us still talking about them months later.
Some of the hottest Nigerian celebrity weddings that made waves in 2018 are:
Omawumi and Toxin Yusuf

This talented musician has released three albums since then – Wonder woman (2009), Lasso of Truth (2015) and Timeless (2017). Her hit songs include Bottom belle, if you ask me, warn yourself.
Apart from singing, Omawumi is a very homely woman and likes cooking and spending quality time with her friends and family. She recently got married to her boyfriend of all times, Tosin Yusuf. The wedding took place at her hometown, Warri, Delta state on 13 January, 2018.
Although they had a court wedding at the Ikoyi Marriage Registry Lagos, the traditional wedding was done this year. The couple already had two kids- a boy and girl before deciding to make their relationship official.
A lot of celebrities graced the occasion ranging from music stars to comedians including her very good friend, Waje. Several media outlets were also there to document the event for wider coverage.

Shortly after the traditional wedding, the white wedding took place. Just before the wedding, Gabriel was forever posting pictures of her and giving scanty details about the wedding preparation. Their hashtag (#GBanks2018) trended on Instagram even after the wedding was over.
Zainab Balogun and Dikko Nwachukwu

She also said that some of their guests phones and her husband’s flask were stolen right from their table. In fact, she said the wedding planner, Denike Balogun, did a very shabby work and was the definition of unprofessionalism. She shared this on her instastory.
The wedding planner on the other hand replied by saying that all the tables had food and drinks on them and no one had complained of any missing belongings to her. She also shared this on her social media pages to debunk what the bride said.
